Always a great experience when we go to butchers tap. The food and service are amazing multiple TVs all over for great Sports viewing and probably one of the best outdoor patios we've ever been to. Definitely a neighborhood staple and our number one spot in Roscoe Village

Just moved into the neighborhood. Super beer selection. Great chicken sandwich, super friendly bar staff. This will be our neighborhood drinking/eating spot! (and three years later it still is!). It can get really loud depending on what sporting event is on the TVs.

I live around the block, been coming here for 3years. There has been a lot of change, maybe due to their employee turnover rate, since the last time I wrote this review. The food seems to have decreased in quality and consistency, maybe new chefs/cooks. Sometimes they blast the volume during games. But overall, it's your neighborhood local Tap and Grill! The atmosphere is still 💯 and the staff is friendly and working hard. They may just be going through a phase, but I believe they'll bounce back soon. I want to go back to loving the idea of a night out at the Butcher's!

Great neighborhood pub with decent grub. It gets a little loud on the weekends, especially during football season (looking at you Ohio people ha). Great for brunch and hangover food. Bartenders have a good sense of humor.

The Butchers Tap is a vintage neighborhood bar that has an original tin ceiling, and dark wood throughout . The service was amiable and prompt. Menu is usual bar food with sandwiches, flatbreads, and salads. There is a list of appetizers. A huge selection of draft beers is offered. We left curious about the advertised Buckeye Bomb drink.

I went during the day on a weekday. It had a totally relaxed vibe. Great local beer selection. The cheese curds were the star of lunch. We also had a delicious burger and onion rings. The turkey sandwich was just okay. A great place to chill out for a couple hours in the afternoon.
